สำหรับการใช้คำ Adjective (คำคุณศัพท์) ตั้งแต่สองคำขึ้นไปเราจะต้องเรียงลำดับคำ Adjective ดังนี้
1. Determiner (คำบอกจำนวน)- a, an, her, five, many, much several เป็นต้น
2. Opinion (ความเห็น) – pretty, ugly, smart, cheap เป็นต้น
3. Size (ขนาด) – big, fat, thin, tall, large, small เป็นต้น
4. Shape (รูปร่าง) – circle, square, tall, short เป็นต้น
5. Age (อายุ) – old, young 10 years, a year, a week, new เป็นต้น
6. Color (สี) – yellow, green, pink เป็นต้น
7. Origin (ที่มา, เชื้อชาติ) – American, English, Asian, Middle Eastern, African, European, Chinese เป็นต้น
8. Material (วัสดุ) – cotton, wood, plastic, cloth, glass, gold เป็นต้น
9 Purpose/Qualifier – hat box, sleeping bag, computer table, safe island, football field.
